Hi There, is there any restrictions if you use static pages for wordpress? I wanna setup a static page for a landing page and then have a separate post page.I know how to do it just wanna make sure I'm not compromising anything.

Thanks

Correct and from there they can navigate to my posts.
Do you mean too sticky the static page on the main index.
So if i were to go to example.com i would see your static page?

Yep understand but couldnt I just delete the other duplicate page?

Thanks for responding.
You get duplicate content.
If you publish a page, it will get a url.
For example every WordPress comes standard with an about page.
example.com/about/

If i were to sticky that page on the main index page, you'll have the same content twice.
On "example.com/about/" and "example.com/"
That could really confuse a search engine.
