Default Re: Alternatives to Digg?

If I knew I would be there myself. I get tired of seeing the same articles or identical topics come up every few months. You can tell the people who dominate digg, and they have a particular agenda:

conspiracies
console fanboy rubbish
'funny stuff'
Linux stuff that gets ridiculously nerdy - eg why Debian xxx.xxx will kick Ubuntus ass
or GNOME rules, KDE sucks. Who the heck cares????
Jobs lovin.

It can be interesting for a bit, but after a while I got tired of reading the favoured articles of a bunch of people who dont have anything better to do.

I used to love Lifehacker, but the quality of articles on there has become so poor its a joke!!

Sigh, I just want a site that is like these sites used to be at the start !
