Games US lost to Canada - 1
Teams expected to rank to finish prior to the start of the Olympics.
Canada - 1st
USA - 5th (US actually had plane tickets booked home during the Gold Medal game)
The "best" team in the world who was presupposed to win, Wins in OT against the 5th ranked team.
Congrats to Canada, for doing what you were expected to do the whole time, and not screwing it up to become the biggest chokers in Olympic history. You squeaked it out. ( Ok 2nd biggest chokers, that belongs to the USSR in 1980. )

Nobody can take us over cause F16s, tanks etc would just get frozen up in 10 feet of ice. Once that happens then we could repel the invaders with our massive fleet of tractors and snowplows.
And those aircraft carriers can't come close to our shores or they will get sunk by icebergs.
Even if you nuke us, we would just think of that as a early start to spring.

Maybe im blind but Canada is still number three on the medals counts. Can you share your source that Canada is has more medals.
