What should we put in the URL of our posts to improve SEO?

We have an F1 related websites and we are using the following link pattern for the daily news.

ourdomain.com/f1-news/today-top-news-date

Would it be better if we also add the world formula1 in our slug like the following pattern?
ourdomain.com/f1-news/formula1-today-top-news-date

it's not a good idea (can be interpreted by google as keyword stuffing, which is something that google doesn't like)

Just use the main headline of that article, regardless of how long it is.

Or, if you don't fancy the idea of using the main headline, pull 10-20 sites in your category and see what they do, and mimic that...

EDIT: actually, I just noticed that your entire site is about F1, so you should probably remove the "f1" in the "f1 news" category and keep only "news"... although, if your entire site is exclusively about F1 News then you should restructure your entire site since a news site doesn't need to have a "news" category to begin with since all of the content on that site will be about news :)
