XRumer Experiment #3

So far, 2 failures... this is experiment #3.

This time, the site is a watch Entourage episode website, it has been up and around for a while. It has some fairly high keyword rankings, too.

#1: Used Google External Keyword Tool to get a list of keywords based on the Entourage show. 374 keywords taken.

#2: Used Hrefer and switched between Google (9 minutes because I heard they ban you if you go longer than 10) and Bing. 10199 sites harvested.

#3: Used Hrefer's mass PR check&sort. I don't know what this is for but thorroofer strongly suggested doing it in experiment #2. It says it will take another hour or so to complete this so I got some time...

I'm not sure what you mean by this. What do I need proxies for? Hrefer says I have 268 proxies... I think that's because the guy I bought use of this server from was kind enough to provide me with these. Is that enough?

not even close, i normally run with 5k+ proxies in hrefer and leave it running for at least a week at a time

This is a nice trick

I need this because everytime I run xrumer I think I just have about less than 50 proxies

As trophaeum said, it is advisable to run Hrefer and Xrumer with a good proxy list. The list that comes with Xrumer has been done to death. You can add your own sites to pull proxies from, or you can "barrow" someone else s.

Xrumer comes with an proxy checking script; Xrumerfolder\proxyc\engine.php

Everyone should already know that if you type;

you can find other people proxy checking script.

Now, Xrumer pulls proxies from a list of sites defined in \proxyc\list.txt . . . so here is the fun part.

run the search;

As you can see, this person has a lot more then the default list of proxies. Add this list to your list.txt and restart xrumer and udate proxies.

You can follow the same steps listed above for Hrefer as well except you'll be making the changes in the Hrefer folder.

A linklist is what you start out with in XRumer. After you finish your campaign it will create a zlink file. If you look at the size you'll notice its a lot larger. This is because it hold more information about forums, etc you successfully posted to. It's learned the algorithm of those forums which is why the zlink campaign goes a lot faster.

I don't use proxies when using XRumer unless I am Mass PMing.

Also why not try long tail keywords.

so you run hrefer for weeks to get these giant lists right? which search engine options do you use? i heard that if you are on google for more than 10 minutes, it will ban you. so do you just leave it on yahoo or something for a week at a time?

i have enough proxies that i dont get bans often
lower the thread count so it doesnt get banned as easily

there are some other tricks to it but really after you get a massive amount of proxies loaded up, the main thing you need is a good footprint list (and what comes with hrefer doesnt count, its shite)

Well my hrefer is working with personalized footprints, different proxy list form xrumer original one and in week I was able to harvest 1.2m list, but OK I have only 10mbit/s connection and I can leave hrefer up and running for a months, so it is not so bad.

@trophaeum: Just for information how many non-public proxies do you have and how much do you spend for them in a month? and what is your network speed and your harvesting speed for example in a day or week?

As you can see, this person has a lot more then the default list of proxies. Add this list to your list.txt and restart xrumer and udate proxies.

You can follow the same steps listed above for Hrefer as well except you'll be making the changes in the Hrefer folder.

@trophaeum: Just for information how many non-public proxies do you have and how much do you spend for them in a month? and what is your network speed and your harvesting speed for example in a day or week?
