How do I stop getting alerts for people who "started a thread"?

it's pretty annoying. i only want alerts that pertain to me. otherwise, I can simply peruse the forum and find what i need.

I have never received this kind of alert. I think you are following those people, no?

the only thing i think is relevant is "posts in a watched forum". i turned that off, so we'll see.

I checked your profile and clicked on one of the alerts. It's because you're watching a subforum.


Just click the unwatch button and you'll stop receiving those alerts, at least for that section.
