I use SEMRush, RankMath, and SurferSEO

Here's my latest long term result

I have been using ahref and SurferSEO

Ahrefs for backlinks and Semrush for keywords.

You guys dont like Semrush?

Research backlinks results would be better served by Ahref and Audit for uberSuggest

Ahrefs is my first preferable tool.

I like to use -

1- Semrush
2- SE ranking
3- Ahref

CognitiveSEO, Ahrefs, Yoast these are my favorite.

Moz , seoquake , keyword.io and many more VPNs and bookmarks !

- outbound links checker
- sitemap scraper

- yellow pages scraper

... and so many more... The list above is only what I remembered from playing with the software for 2-3 months last year, but it can definitely do a lot more than these (you just have to get creative with it and to use the software extensively enough to get used to it because it has a steep learning curve in the beginning)... Oh, and all these for less than $300 one time fee, which is nuts if you asked me.

If you're a serious SEO you simply can't do without this software

I double that, those are the best tools to start with.

Ahrefs is the best analyzing backlinks and checking competitors but its keyword research ain't that good at all.

Semrush provides great insights for kws, difficulty, etc.. the keyword suggestions tools and filters are great and would help you outline everything easily. its backlink checker is great too but most of the time it doesn't show all what ahrefs is showing.

Rankmath is another good tool I use all the time
