I'll disagree with you there.
There alot of gems in alibaba, you need to be shit hot on spotting the scammers, question, question after question hit them like hell!! You will know who the scammers are!

Obviously most of the elctronic companies are scammers thats a fact BUT for things like fishing tackle, replica items anything thats nichey you will be ok! Hook up with someone you know who can visit them, best advice form connections.
There is a bloke i know on ebay who will do connections who is from the UK, he sources companies over there and is in contact via phone etc etc
