i try to be honest and play the game fair but man the internet is a dark place.
so last year i bought a website for $$$. the content is not unique, pretty generic entertainment stuff and there's a lot of this type of content on the web. anyway, past 6 months all of my rankings were tanking, losing traffic & revenue. i didn't notice as i was so busy but when i checked, another website was taking all of my content, spinning it, and posting it. google was favoring the content over mine.
long story short, with some research .. it was the same guy that sold me the website. so i proceeded to do the same thing he did to me, take his and spin. now he's threatening dmca/copyright, the balls on this guy.
BHW. thoughts? i doubt google will do anything with the dmca/copyright as nothing is copied word for word. but should i proceed first with the dmca w/ google? or what
