How long will it take a new website to rank in Google ?

It depends on the KW...
Depends on the site.. depends on if you have been sandboxed...
You can get ranked for "KJG GFOIPAK TEAE T390tgK" within the first week....
It depends on too many factors to give you an accurate guestimate.

But if we are guessing here, usually 3-6 months is a good timeframe to work with.
 
To just rank in general 1 or two days my way but the setup process bit different to normal.

My setup process takes 4 to 7 days then everything index x2 days later.

1. Buy domain
###Remember you might need a old expired domain to beat your compition so do the home work .###

2.change the name server info to host info
Leave it 4 to 7 days alone.
###Remember you need a fast host try get one on the same as your competition as speed matters .###

3.afther checking the name server changed info, then log into Cpanel add the new domain.

Know go to WordPress add a new setup for the new website with the new domain.

add any theme you want

know write on the new theme website under construction.

Add any image

That it leave x2 days.

X2 day time Should see the domain know indexed in Google.

Know do the proper website config and plugin and shit, then update design.

Know google will update the info when it reindex the google server.(( usually couple days time.))

That my way.

Always worked never failed me.

So 9 days take me fully indexed.

Like I said it my way unusual but works.

How long the keywords get indexed and positioned up to google from 6 to 8 months.

But usually use an indexing service to get them kw indexed faster, but my way usually gets the front page kw indexed very quick.

All you do know beat all competition indexed website info and social and backlinks.....

I use screaming frog for beating competition info.

There are multiple factors to be considered. Like keyword, domain, on-page SEO, which techniques do you use (like link building, etc). Google updates its ranking every 2-6 weeks so it's kinda random.
