when you're writing your blog article or spinning content do you also spin the images from the blog you're copying content from?
if yes - how? and is it necessary?
if no - doesnt google identify it as a copy image from similar article?

They can definitely tell if the image is copied, but if it matters for SEO? I don't know.

You can easily "spin" an image with basic Photoshop (or use Canva/Pixlr).

Is this about SEO, or?

Yeah with regards to SEO. Even after Canva dont you think google images tells "similar images"

They can probably tell "similar images", just try it out with Google Images > Search by Image. You'll almost always get a "similar image" no matter if it's a purchased image, stolen, spun or whatever.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've ranked great with copied images.

You can get free images from sites like https://unsplash.com/ and https://www.pexels.com/ - And might as well "spin" images to be safe. I personally do some edits nowadays like saturation/cropping + compressing the image (and possibly convert to WebP for extra speed) = "original image".

Thank you for your advice and suggestions, I guess there's no need to worry! Cheers!

Remove exif and use the image with different file name and metas you should be OK. But beware of copyright images.

I say should because there is no definite answer unless Google is going to tell you.

But it's better to get images from royalty free sites
