Decentralized TLDs / web3 domains

Decentralized TLDs, or web3 domains, currently cannot be routed via DNS, however browsers will eventually have the ability to support web3 domains I won't need a third party resolver. Have you looked into these?
What are your thoughts?

Blockchain domains, such as namebase.io? You can get your own .com or .net but customized like .bhw for blackhatworld, then you could sell domains from that like makemoneyonline.bhw as the domain to sell.

I hope that drivel helps explain what I am talking about.
