Shopify Shop + Blog

Good day! I´m about to launch a Shopify store and considering what is the best option for the blog that will be linked to the store. I´m trying to decide between WordPress or Shopify. Based on your experience what option would you opt for and why? Also how would you handle the analytics side of it? Two separate accounts or just one? Any assistance regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks beforehand
