Hi and welcome to my brief post,
Four weeks ago I have started a small journey (me-background = 5+ years as social media manager), a journey that I have decided to take by myself (without rush nor pressure). I have to say that I have invested at least 10 hours a day every day to learn as much as possible on how to hit 1st place in the youtube SEO algorithm, grow my viewer audience, grow my subscribers, rank individual videos, bots, SMM pannels, so-called "amazing" tools, etc. All for nothing. (they could get you banned)
It's sad personally to see the number of people scamming one another on multiple and different forums (instead of helping one another to grow), where they claim to have developed the top niche strategy or tool to grow your youtube channel, with backlinks, unique trendy videos, and all the other bullshit they promise with their unique packages [starter] | [Silver] | [Diamond] | [Luxor]. If you are in the youtube industry for a long you will know that all these promises are dangerous, since your youtube trajectory could be compromised due to some blackhat shitty tool that somebody is using. (prove me wrong)
I have spent a few hundred red-pilling myself with all this top-selling stuff, believing that I will get a result although I knew very well that I wasn't going to get it, I still tried, so many others don't have to.
If you are new to youtube growth and monetization, let me direct you exactly on what you need to focus on in order to succeed, and believe me I won't spoon feed you - since I don't have the time right now to do so, but I hope this is a step in for your future success with the youtube platform and if you have any queries you can just DM me.

First things first, fuck the idea that you will get rich out of youtube, that won't happen unless you put yourself out there on a specific niche such as:
-LinusTech (PC build)
-Marquees Brownlee (review)
-Pewdiepie (gaming)
...sorry for killing your dreams, but if you want to make bucks like them you will have to become a slut of the people, and make drama on each of your videos and spend quite a bit in order to have something new to talk about.
But, the good news here is that you can at least make some residual income that can help you on your daily hustle and perchance make a living - here is a step of things you must do when building your youtube channel.
STEP 1 - NICHE
Sit down, analyze and think - what does that mean | Before you go to war, you need to know who you are going to war with... duh! - craft an idea, start researching what sort of youtube videos tend to get the highest records of hits for the minor input of effort, seek to analyze your idea, and focus on what your main purpose is - is your purpose to create a quality audience that will always be there whenever you put a new video, or you are seeking for anyone who might be interested in seeing an individual video that you post. (that will help you find the right niche) (there is a video for everyone's like in youtube)
These two purposes are different in itself, and each brings its own personal rewards, without going into too much detail - developing a quality audience will require you to constantly interact with them, while the other option allows you to post different videos that might not everyone's cup of tea but it will bring you views. so what should you pick? go figure out.
Learn what an "Informative/Cause video" is and what an "Entertaining video" is.
STEP 2 - STRATEGY
Plan, when going to war, you need to understand the actions of your enemies/competitors | in simplicity, there are three things you need to consider:
1.- What is their source of content = Where The F**k they getting their ideas from? (traceback their videos and find a link - websites/articles/news from where they get their shit content) or simply subscribe to their channel and copycat what they do but with alternative products.
2.- What tags their videos have = I'm not going to go into details, but through my previous test, the fewer tags you have on your videos the better, youtube seems to side with individuals that enter a relevant tag that matches the description of the video.)
3.- F**king improve what others do = Samsung has been a copycat of apple for many years, they see and do better, your content needs to be the same, dont freaking release videos that you think are good for the moment, release videos that make sense, that are linked with the previous videos you posted, try to help your audience understand what sort of youtube channel you are.
STEP 3 - WHERE IS MY F**KING GUN
It is important that you have the right tools when going to war, in my case although I cannot post any pictures or links in here yet, I will give you a brief and limited look into my arsenal.
1.- create a unique logo and banners for your youtube channel - first impressions matter, dress to impress, bring colors, live up your channel to create a hub of welcomeness for your users, where they know where to go when they want to [your niche]
2.- Video template [focus on 2k -4k templates they get the highest support from youtube algorithm] = if you are going to start building a brand out of your channel - get a video template that allows you to brand all your videos in a unique way. (with a proper intro, and a proper outro.) - check videohive
3.- Hootsuite - yeah I know what you going to say, but f**k it, it's useful especially for what I do, I created my own template that automatically generates the same video for multiple platforms and allows me to synchronize my youtube with the post on other platforms, which generates me a better analytics understanding as well as traffic for niche keywords.
4.- A website - you could make your channel more profitable if you have a place where your viewers can go for more videos as well [be creative - google ads - membership - etc]
5.- Tags extractor - type it on google you will get a bunch of results
6.- Adobe spark web version - lets you create those gay ass thumbnails.
7.- Zapier is one my main tools, it allows me to do a lot without doing nothing
8.- My own personal developed plugin for AE - that allows me to generate videos every 10 seconds, and automatically allows me to render the videos on AME, and automatically upload to youtube.
That's it, that is how to succeed in youtube in brief, you dont need magic tools, blackhat methods, or any sort of premium silver gold package. It will make some sellers mad but again I dont give a Sh*t, I'm all up for people's success, the more we improve, the more our strategies can improve.
