Just read up on adsense ad placement.
Find good clickbank products that appeal to people trying to solve some personal problem... maybe health related.
Also, sign up to CJ, neverblue and promote some stuff from them...

Select a niche and use google to see how other people like yourself are doing it and replicate, rinse and repeat.

Use youtube and yahoo answers and backlinks to promote it. Read Harro's post of gettin backlinks too.
