I have an audience of around 20 000 (20K) members (in several facebook groups). Members are freelancers & online business owners and I would like some tips & advice on strategies to grow my audience faster , growth hacks, partnerships, joint ventures for my audience...
At the end of the post I will share some tips I used to grow my audience with FB groups. For many of you it may be a very simple & obvious strategy but I'm sure it can help to some people who are not making money online at the moment. But first I will ask some questions I have.. too see if you could help please)
So Basically I was planning to send this audience 20k freelancers & online business owners to other channels. What channels would you recommend (telegram, twitter any others?) also any other strategies worth trying? Viral Quiz, Viral Contests, manychat other strategies? Youtube collaborations?
2) Simple Strategy I used To Grow My Audience:
To start basically I created a specific facebook group (for example freelancers who are looking for content creation jobs) and I shared my group in other related groups & forums...many facebook groups have self promotion days so it's a great opportunity to promote your group for free
Another option is to Grow a Facebook Group with Ads. You really need very little money to get your first 100-200 members and once you reach 100-200 members the group grows on it's own (so you don't need to invest more)
Once you have a few hundred members and the group has a lot of engagement, comments likes etc the group just grows on it's own as it's suggested to many fb users who might be interested in the topic (it's important to seo optimize the name of your facebook group.
To get high engagement in your fb group...Check other related groups to see whats working, to get new ideas...for example in my case self promotion posts where members can promote your services work really well..those posts get a lot of likes and comments..
Another strategy that many miss is to Create a welcome post for your most recent members who have joined your Facebook group in the past seven days. These are the posts that will get you the most comments & likes etc in your facebook group and gives a signal to Facebook that people love your group so Facebook will recommend your group to more members that might be interested in...
Then what you can do is create new related facebook groups so for example a group to share content creation jobs, a group to share freelance jobs, a group for online business owners, agroup to share virtual assistant jobs etc...and send the audience of your first group to your other groups..that way you will have 5 or more different groups that will grow on it's own (sure.. at first when they are small groups they grow slow but they just keep growing almost on autopilot...
Then when you have a bigger audience you can do cross promotions with other facebook groups or other influencers who have similar audiences in other channels like youtube, telegram, etc meaning your partner will promote your group to his audience and you will promote his group to your audience...
