Internal Linking - Do links coming from divi sections count?

Let's say I have on my site Latest / Most Popular / Related posts sections that are linking to posts but they are made with divi elements , so there is no anchor text. Do they still count as internal links ?

depends exactly what you mean "no anchor":

- if anchor is a blank in a regular text link, then this type of link may not count (disclaimer: I dont work for Google),
- imho, these dont count or count for peanuts, as this is not really a link a real user would click or see (assuming this is a text link with blank anchor you are talking about),
- content img link with blank alt may count on the other hand, as the image is clickable and user may click it, so Google should count it,
- finally img link with blank alt when the image is just a design element that no one would click, here again should not count.

Might be wrong but as I recall, these links are still crawled but don't provide any context on the links since they lack anchors.

Surely you can set it up so that there is a title for those elements which would act as an anchor. Or you don't want to do that because of design needs?

Designs needs , I decided to go with just 3 images [Related Posts] with small excerpt for each image

Would be better to show the title instead of excerpt in such case.

Yes it will be count as internal links
