From 25k sessions they have now jumped to 50k session which is kinda ridiculous especially in times like covid they could have accepted more users, but then again can’t do much except rant here lol

Wow! that's much. Not even page views,

my website was doing 25k session and i thought with just few more sessions i will apply next month.. now need to do more work :(
No need to be upset keep working and search for a different network!

I am not shocked by this move. They already have thousands of blogs in their inventory and now they are focusing on high traffic blogs.

They still have 25k policy and their earning is better than Mediavine

after i see your suggestion, i have searched about ezoic and see everyone has issues. i quote

They're good but tend to have some problems from time to time. Like DNS issues. One time they had a DNS error and my site went down for a day.

Some of their users also complain about slow speed. Ezoic puts a ton of scripts and ads on your site. But Ezoic came up with a speed accelerator tool that lowered the loading times so everything is now good. But some users still complain because Ezoic charges $20 a month for the tool.

.

I tried Ezoic and had some bad experiences.
Obviously the way they offer the huge increase in earnings is by adding a huge amount of ads to your site which hinders the user-experience.
However that's not a huge deal.

The bigger issue was that it slowed down the site speed a lot and even worse, after a month of working fine, my site stopped loading completely for a few days.
I spent some time trying to figure it out with my hosting provider and WP plugins, but turns out when I completely disabled Ezoic, the site started functioning normally again.

In conclusion, Ezoic does provide higher earnings to normal Adsense, but they have plenty of issues with performance.
You might as well try them out, but be ready to ditch if there's any issues. Thankfully they have a low payout.

Ouch, that hurts :( I guess they want to focus on a smaller number of blogs that bring in good traffic

That's actually a good move. From (my) network point of view, I can tell that you mostly want to deal with those users who bring you revenue, not with those who waste time.
