What happened to my homepage meta description?

So I checked my website name in google and it shows the meta description of 'no comments' and the latest posts only. What has happened here? It used to show what I typed in yoast homepage description now it's messed up. any clues?

Hi,

I have the same problem... Maybe the Yoast is not the best tool for SEO. Can you remove comments from Yoast in HTML? Thank you in advanced

Update to latest version of yoast if you’re yet using it

for some reason it reset back to its original meta after a few days. idk weird bug
