good metrics, bad daily visitor count

23 organic searches a day and it has been as high as 150 maybe 200 on a good day. I deleted a ton of broken links recent: does More content, equal more traffic? Metrics have me rank pretty decent on low frequency keywords but why only 23-30 organic visits a day is what unnerves me after having this with about 2000 pages going with indexed content for 4-5 months currently....

More content can turn into more traffic but if you dont have any backlinks linking to those pages then google will not rank them in top results as backlinks is still the number 1 ranking factor.

Content always king, addition to that build backlinks to it. If the article is well quality then no problem in driving traffic from it.
