Buying an iPhone off ebay

Hey guys,

So yea I want to buy a iPhone. Primarily, I'm looking on ebay for one.

Most of them are crazy overpriced. I can get a manufacture unlocked 32gb 3gs in NZ for $960US and some guys want $1200 for something that's been jail-break'd.

So I found one guy who will offer me a jail-break'd 32gb 3gs for $750US. I'm not to sure about this guy because hes saying there's no box included. He also won't tell me the source of where he got them from. As much as this is a good deal, I still can't see if its legit or not. Hes got nearly 300 rating there, so he looks legit, but still uneasy over whether I should get this or not.

I'm looking to get a 3gs 32gb white for less $800 excluding shipping who will ship to New Zealand. I'm not terribly keen on buying it from outside ebay but definitely, if someone could point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.

only buy from a seller with high feedback. there are alot of fake iphones out there. without seeing the auction its hard to say. just make sure you pay with a credit card, so if its fake you can do a charge back.

and before buying online.. research about your local prices

I bought an item from ebay which was same cost in my local area.. but to service the item, I had to ship it to the seller who is far away from my place.

Chinese counterfeit manufacturers have already flooded the market with them.

Well I kept emailing this guy. He refused to say why it didn't come with a box and wouldn't give me and proof he owned or wouldn't provide a serial number so I'm gonna flag it.

Seems kinda weird a guy with 300 feedback won't play nice. But yea $750 was nice for a 3gs 32gb
