Re: BS Your Way to Internet Riches
Here is another negative psychological trigger. A famous guru highly recommends this (I will identify him in the final work).
Fear
The idea is that most target readers of this kind of material are afraid of being scammed. So you simply tell them that if they use your competitor's products, they will be scammed. You play on that fear. And, of course, the cure for never getting scammed is the product you are selling, so they no longer have to be afraid of the Internet jungle.
Fear can also be used to predict a person's future if he does not use your product. He will turn into another loser who leaves the Internet with his tail between his legs, waste years of his life or a fortune in useless material. I have seen this fear addressed often by the call to "take action NOW!" Or there is the 80-20 rule where 80% of the readers will stay losers because they did not take action. What action needs to be taken? Uhm... well... Here's an idea... Why not the action in your product?
Oh yeah. I forgot. There is a small action you need to take before taking that action. Simply click on the "Buy Now" button and claim your amazing copy of yada yada yada for only yada yada yada...
Howdya like that word "claim" within the fear theme? Wimps "buy" or "get." Masters of the universe, decisive world-movers, empire builders and all-round good-guys "claim." Claimers fear nothing!
