Blog Comment Spammer?

One of my competitors has been pulling in hundreds of blog backlinks from all over the place. They are getting these links by posting comments on blogspot/wordpress/etc.

I can't figure out if they are using a tool or a workforce.

Does anyone have any tips on a tool that can spam more blogs than just Wordpress? (I know about UWCS and the free blog commenting tool on here)

A tool that can scrape high PR blogs that are open to comments?

most important problem with blog commenting ( at least on the wordpress powered blogs ) it's the askimet .... that's a very very ugly thing

I have never dabbled in Imacros (though I probably should). How long would it take you to make a macro for posting on one of the platforms?
