want to download IG profile photos

What is the easiest automated way to download IG profile photos along with the account's username or userid? This photo is the one in the little circle that can be seen in a list of accounts in the app or on the profile page by the account's username.

I am trying to build an index of followers or followings for my accounts and it would be very helpful to have just the IG profile photos to add to them, but I haven't found a bot or automated way to do it. I have ways to download photos from my account or others using Followliker, Instadub, and Instagram Scraper, but none of them give a way I've found to download a IG profile photo. I may be missing something but I've tried to look for a way to do this. Any suggestions?

Curious if anyone else sees a need to download the profile photo from each user in a list of users... I could potentially add it to my free tool (thread), but others would have to see the usefulness of it as well.

KraftyKyle, if no one (or few people) are doing this it may help to give some reasons why some people would want that option and why it would be a benefit of using your tool.

You could mention that this feature would allow users to add the profile photos to a personal contact directory of their own with photos, or use them as an quick aid to determining a profile's gender. It's much faster to look at a profile photo instead of accessing the full profile and looking through several photos, and usually the profile photo will have a portrait or something similar of the user.

Being able to upload a list of usernames and getting back say a CSV file say of usernames, userids, and URLs or image IDs for profile photos and a downloaded bunch of JPGs of profile photos with the filename the image ID or part of the URL would make it easiest for users to import those images into a contact management program (Apple, Android, Outlook, etc). There may not be many people doing this now but it may be because they don't have the means to do so and having that means might make your tool more worthwhile.

I mentioned wanting to build an index of my accounts' followers with the profile's photo. The main reason was to be able to skim down a list of followers names with the profile photo beside the name along with a gender I've assigned to the contact by running a script against a database of names associated with gender. Assigning gender based on name is fairly accurate but there's obviously a lot of gender-neutral / unisex names and being able to selectively view those names with the photo helps me quickly update the list. Also if I see some matches of gender, name, and profile photo that don't look right I can take a look at the individual profile and make a correction.

If you do add this feature or want help beta testing anything like this for IG I'd obviouly be glad to help. Reply if you like and if you update the tool and I'd be glad to give feedback!
